Writing sentences is the first of many steps to setting your child up for success. Children who can write and express thoughts well in basic sentences will be better able to paint a picture for their readers when writing creative stories.
In this class your student will have fun and focus on 4 main components of sentence writing:
- Writing sentences with a subject & predicate (proper sentence formation).
- Expanding their sentences to include more details (sentence expanding).
- Using correct punctuation and grammar in their sentences (sentence correction).
- Learning to check their own sentences (editing and revising).
